A school isn’t just a place to learn a specialist subject. Of course, learning any subject is valuable, but likewise so is being exposed to numerous opportunities to take part in activities students wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to do during a “normal” school day. Well, here at Baysgarth School we are committed to giving our students the chance to experience a range of projects which will truly inspire them and teach them skills in responsibility, respect and resilience they maybe wouldn’t get in a normal classroom setting.
We are excited to share a new initiative we are launching in September for students in Years 7-9. To enrich our curriculum further, we are introducing 'Inspire Time', which will take place every Wednesday on week B for 90 minutes.
We have sent families of current Year 6, 7 and 8 students information about this and a booklet with details of all the exciting projects on offer - this can also be found below. Make sure you read this carefully. The more informed students are, the higher the likelihood will be that they will pick a project that is enjoyable, challenging and most importantly, inspiring.
We ask that students select and submit their six preferred choices via a brief online form by Friday 26th June. The link to this has been emailed to all parents and carers.
