Our exciting approach to homework is delivered via our Expert Learner Programme! This year we have made changes to the programme, in that students across all year groups will now be involved and activities will not be compulsory.
The project replaces ‘traditional’ homework and allows students to benefit from this unique opportunity, working with their peers and teachers to develop the expert learner skills through exciting projects which have been designed by each faculty to target different core skills.
Spring Half Term Enrichment Timetable
Below is the Enrichment Timetable for this half term. We are offering a variety of activities and sports for students to take advantage of, however, we would like to take this opportunity to clarify the expectations of students. Throughout the academic year, students are expected to take part in at least three Enrichment activities (on average one per term); these can be sessions offered at Baysgarth, or clubs outside of school, i.e. Rushby's Dance and Fitness or a local sports club. Students are required to evidence their involvement in such groups and speak confidently about their experiences. If a student participates in activities outside of school, there is no expectation they have to sign up to the clubs on offer within school, although any student who wishes to do so is more than welcome to join!
